INTRODUCTION
Designing a syllabus, RPP, have a module is one of
obligatory duty and function of teacher/lecture in pedagogic competency. The
teacher/lecture ability to set syllabus and RPP is an important thing because
in syllabus and RPP have a detail activity will made by teacher/lecture with
student and at the end of the course, it will describe to objective learning
appropriate requirement of curriculum for a course.
Syllabus is learning design contained the lesson plans
of certain course at a certain level and class, as a
result of selection, grouping, sorting, and presentation of material
curriculum, which considered based on characteristic and requirement in local
area (Abdul Majid, 2008: 39). Syllabus is helpful as guidelines to make
a plan management of learning activities, like learn activity classically,
small groups, or learning individuality.
Lesson plan (or RPP in Indonesian language) is a plan
which describes a procedure and organization learning to achieve one basic
competency (KD) that specified in content standards and described in the
syllabus.
Module is one of a teaching material are packed
systematically and attractive so it is easy to learn independently. Application
of module in learning aims for student to get learn independently without or
with the instructor. Because in a learning, the instructor as a facilitator.
One thing cannot offer that syllabus and RPP must be
prepared by instructor before the instructor entered into class. As an
instructor, we must conscious that learning process happened internally in self-learner because there is an outer stimulus gave by
teacher, friends, or environment. Instructor must provide the experiment
learning for learner to do all activity that can develop their potency. Because
of that, syllabus and RPP is important thing to set by instructor and module is
a model material to make a learning-teaching process. The syllabus, lesson plan
(RPP), and module that I used is from Politeknik Caltex Riau University.

Module
I
take only three chapters : Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 5. Here to see the module.
d.
Analysis
As we can see on the learning outcome in syllabus, we
can say that it is appropriate in their major is accountancy. Why so? We can
see that the learning outcome of this course is Students can
explain how to operate computers/equipment/machines, do job interviews, make
proposals and participate in debates. With accountancy as the major, of
course someone is required to can operate computers/equipment/machines, do job
interview, and make proposal, because an accountant must be able to make a
proposal like financial proposal.
Then, as we can see in lesson plan (RPP), teaching
technique that lecture used is very well and in every meeting, at the closing
meeting the lecture give a review of the course, evaluation, and talk a little
bit about the next topic for next meeting. Besides that, lecture also
gives a question to students to make sure that the students understand with the course.
If we see from the teaching schedule, the material appropriate with
their major because as though they were
going to be an accountant but not too specific, they must know how to write a
letter, CV, proposal presentation, and report presentation to make their easy
when worked.
And we can see in module, I am only take three chapters
are chapter 1, 2, and 3. From some chapter, the explanation of material
appropriate with syllabus and explained clearly because in the
module attached examples and tips.
Based on the
result of interviews to some students said that their lecture teach very well
and make the students understand with the course. When the learning teaching
process, they use bilingual language are Indonesia and English. They lecture
teach appropriate with syllabus and lesson plan (RPP) that they have and with
the clear material. The lecture
not always uses LCD because there are some materials that have example in the
book. She always gives an assignment appropriate with the material and the
assessment is very objective. She likes an active students and talkative, and
the student that always ask a question to her. When they meet out of class,
they always use English language.
CONCLUSION
 We know that
syllabus, lesson plan (RPP) and module is important thing in learning teaching
process, because without them the learning teaching process will not run
properly. Besides that, the appropriate between syllabus, material and major is
important too. If the material does not appropriate with major, the course we
learned cannot be used well in our major. So, the suitability between them is
very important in order to be used as working capital in the future.
Really an admirable work you done. Thanks for share. Ielts Mumbai
